No Action button? Log expenses with Back Tap

Go to
Settings›Accessibility›Touch›Back Tap›Double Tap›Shortcuts›空杯记账
Once it's set, tap the back of your phone twice with a finger after you pay, and 空杯记账 runs. Supported on iPhone 8 and later (iOS 14 and up).

Before you start

Install the 空杯记账 shortcut first; see Log expenses automatically with iPhone Shortcuts.

Setup

  1. Open Settings, go to Accessibility, then tap Touch.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Back Tap.
  3. Choose Double Tap (or Triple Tap if you keep triggering it by accident).
  4. Scroll down to the Shortcuts group and choose 空杯记账.
  5. Try it: open a payment-success screen and tap the upper part of the back of your phone twice.

FAQ

Nothing happens when I tap?

A thick case can get in the way. Tap a bit higher on the back (just below the cameras) and a little harder.

It keeps going off by accident?

Switch from Double Tap to Triple Tap.

I have an Action button. Which should I use?

The Action button is more reliable: it only runs when you press and hold, so it never goes off by accident. See Log expenses with the iPhone Action button. You can also set up both.
