Add Kongbei Ledger to your iPhone Home Screen
Short answer
Kongbei Ledger isn't on the App Store; it's a web app you add to your Home Screen. Open my.kongbei.xyz in Safari on your iPhone, then
Share›Add to Home Screen›Add
From then on, open it from the Kongbei Ledger icon: it's full screen with no address bar, just like an app.Steps
- Open my.kongbei.xyz in Safari, the browser that comes with your iPhone. Pages opened inside other apps (WeChat, Xiaohongshu and so on) can't be added; switch to Safari first.
- Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up). In iOS 26, Safari tucks it into the “…” button next to the address bar: tap “…”, then Share. On earlier versions, Share is at the bottom center of the screen.
- Scroll down the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Keep or change the name. From iOS 26 there's also a switch on this screen that decides whether it opens on its own like an app or inside Safari: leave it on. Tap Add in the top right.
- Go to your Home Screen, open the Kongbei Ledger icon, then tap “Create in one tap” to connect your ledger. Always open it from this icon from now on.
Why the Home Screen
- It works like an app: full screen, no address bar, one tap from your Home Screen; it shows your last data right away and updates itself when there's a new version.
- Note reminders need it: on iPhone, only web apps opened from the Home Screen can get notifications, so Settings → Note reminders can only be turned on from there.
Next: install the logging shortcut
Once your ledger is connected, see Log expenses automatically with iPhone Shortcuts to install the shortcut, so one press after paying logs the entry.
FAQ
Can't find Add to Home Screen?
Make sure the page is open in Safari: pages opened inside apps like WeChat or Xiaohongshu don't have this option, so use the menu to open it in Safari. If it's still missing, scroll further down the Share menu.
Do I download it from the App Store?
No. Kongbei Ledger is a web app: add it to your Home Screen and it's ready to use.
Does it work on Android?
Logging runs on iPhone Shortcuts, so for now it's iPhone only.
